In this article, "the biography of a thanksgiving holiday" , Elizabeth H. Pleck tell about the pilgrims traditions. Elizabeth asserts that's pilgrims are the origin of thanksgiving. Elizabeth states that they wore buckles on there shoes , had no shirts with ruffled collars and feasted on turkey. The author, Elizabeth, talks about the way they dressed, and feasted. Her purpose was to inform her readers about the way they lived, dressed, and ate.
